Development and creation of roads in Zaghouan

The project, completed in December 2024 on behalf of the Ministry of Equipment and Housing (Directorate of Bridges and Roads/Directorate of Road Projects), concerns the development and creation of 13.6 km of rural trails in Zaghwan Governorate, at the level of the delegations of Nadhour, Zriba and El Fahs. The tracks concerned are Ould Jeballah-Ould Harrth-Aouled Aifa (3.1 km), Frayhia (1.3 km), Oued El Kenz-Kaff Lahjar-Ould Ben Hamouda-Jabnoun-Essalemi (6.8 km), and Dhraà Ben Jouder-Khanket Jasmin (5.1 km). The work carried out includes the clearing, stripping and demolition of existing pavements and structures, earthworks in embankment/drap, the protection of slope by rocking, the construction of the carriageway (road bodies and rolling layer), the construction of sidewalks and accomodations, the construction of hydraulic structures and transverse drainages (with their head structures and protections: safety slides, gabions, masonry holes, parafoyles, etc.), as well as vertical signs and safety works.
