Strengthening the degraded sections in Nabeul, Zaghouan, and Ben Arous

The project, carried out as part of the programme of maintenance of the road network classified 2019 and 2020, concerns the strengthening of 58 km of degraded sections distributed between the governorates of Nabeul (27.8 km), Zaghouan (15.8 km) and Ben Arous (14.4 km). At the request of the Ministry of Equipment and Housing (Directorate-General for Bridges and Roads), the work includes the earthing of the roadway, including the purge of reinforced cracking areas, milling of the existing roadway, the installation of a 0/20 gravely crushed foundation layer, a 0/20 serious bitumen re-coupling layer, a 0/14 bitumen concrete bearing layer, as well as the reloading of the 0/40 severe crushed underlays. In addition, drainage works are carried out on the pavements (scouring and repainting of ground ditches, curing of works) and on signs and equipment.
